Ergonomic, fast, compact
The Smart CMM is a small
revolution in coordinate measuring technology.
It offers a wide application spectrum for measuring smaller and medium production components. It is extremely tolerant to temperature variations and is production floor hardened and therefore is suitable to be very flexibly used as shop measuring gauge.

Bridge Type

• X-Orbit

The XOrbit combines the concentration of essential features, experience of Wenzel with top mechanical engineering in a budget form.

The CNC bridge measuring machine is best suited for quick inspection tasks in production, receiving areas and for classic quality assurance.

• System LH

Horizontal aerodynamic bearing
The bridge machine has optimized bearing guide elements that guarantee a non-wearing and frictionless operation. Base plate traverse and spindle sleeves are of dark natural hard granite and all axes have the same thermal reaction. The guide system of the Y-axis is directly machined into the base plate; raised on one side on the LH 1515.
The weight of the Z Ram is compensated by a pneumatic cylinder that supports the Ram in any position. The granite base plate is lapped flat according to DIN 876/0. The guides of the X and Y axis are equipped with bellows covers.
The machines are equipped with a CNC control unit.

Horizontal-arm Machines

• RA-Series ( RAF / RAD )

The roller bearing coordinate measuring machines of the RA series offer a maximum measuring volume for medium-sized and large work pieces. The almost unlimited accessibility of the measuring area from all sides allows an easy placement and the shortest set-up times. An especially high measuring efficiency can be achieved by simultaneously using several measuring units. An expansion of the measuring volume is possible by combining various measuring units.

The measuring machines of the RA series are supplied with new guide beams made from the modern material, polymer concrete. The outstanding physical qualities of polymer concrete offer the best conditions for high-precision measurements.

• RS / RSD Plus

The RSplus is a roller-bearing, high-performance coordinate measuring machine. The RSplus does not require a separate foundation, so it can be used in the most locations.

A particularly high measuring efficiency can be achieved by the simultaneous application of several measuring units. Larger measuring volumes are possible by combining multiple measuring units.

• RH

Horizontal roller bearings
The portal machine has selected linear guides in the X and Y axis and a roller bearing in the Z axis that guarantee a smooth operation free of play due to preloading. The Z axis counterbalance is obtained through an adjusted pneumatic cylinder capable to hold the Z ram in any position.
The X and Y axis guide system is protected against contaminants by bellows.
The cast iron base plate is finished according to DIN 876/2, available with optional anti vibration dampers.
